The Edge Ice Arena is Located 1/4 mile east on Ransom Street off U.S.31. Featuring two NHL size rinks, a full service Pro-Shop operated by The Total Athlete Equipment Room and a Concessions that features protein shakes and more. Programs at The Edge include Hockey Leagues, Figure Skating Classes, Public Skate and Drop-In Hockey.

Coaches

Scott Chiamulera
Scott is a former National and International pair's skater for the United States Figure Skating Team. He is currently the basic skills director at the Edge Ice Arena and a private lessons instructor for Skaters Edge of West Michigan. He is currently offering freestyle, moves in the field and pairs skating lessons.

Jacqueline (Jay) Alimpich
Jay has extensive experience teaching group lessons, and is currently directing an area basic skills program. She has been teaching private lessons with the club for about 6 years. Jay has earned her degree in biology from Grand Valley State University, where she was also the president of the GVSU Synchronized Skating Team for multiple seasons.

Shanda DeWitt
Shanda has been teaching for Skaters Edge of West Michigan for over two years. She has several years of experience teaching basic skills, as well as private lessons. Shanda was a competitive skater for the Detroit Skating Club. She competed up through the higher levels; her last collegiate competition at the Senior level. Shanda has completed her freestyle and moves tests through Senior. She is currently attending Grand Valley State University, pursuing a degree in broadcasting.

Jessica Stark
Former Skating Director for The Edge Ice Arena and Skaters Edge of West Michigan Figure Skating Club. She was a competitive figure skater with the Greater Grand Rapids Figure Skating Club, where she enjoyed competing up through the higher levels. She has almost 15 years of experience teaching basic skills/group lessons, and over six years of experience teaching private lessons. Jes is working to complete a degree in physics from Grand Valley State University, where she also spent two seasons with the GVSU Synchronized Skating Team.

Stephanie Netzly
Stephanie has been teaching group lessons for several years and for the last couple years has had great success in her first couple years of private lessons. She competed for Greater Grand Rapids Figure Skating Club, and has danced through the highest level of ballet at Turning Pointe. Stephanie just recently graduated from Calvary Baptist High School and hopes to stay in the area to teach and skate.
